Who Do You Think You Are? Transcript

Liz: We've been forced to expand what it means to be us and how we identify. We're defined not just by male, female anymore. We're not just meant to identify by our one race or ethnicity because we have multiple. Where we live or where we’re born isn't necessarily a reflection of who you are because you're so much more than that. So we have been, especially of late, really trying to reach in and grasp our identities.

Rhea: My identity is consistently shifting because if we say that you are defined by the stories you tell yourself, once you start unpicking those stories, it's a real shift in my identity.

Liz: Very much.

Rhea: It's like who am I? Am I the girl that I've told myself I've been, or am I the girl that I want to be or am I the girl that I am? And so identity, even without the what I look like, how I speak, because that's another thing as well, what languages I speak, how I speak them, what I believe, what family means to me. All these things are part of my identity, but at the same time, like my inner monologue, every time that changes, so does my identity, whether it's just to myself and we've been discussing this over the past couple of weeks recently about how as I change sometimes other people don't see that change. They treat me how I used to be.

Liz: Well, people will generally regard us through a particular filter that will mitigate their own fear or how they perceive themselves. So as we shift and as our perspectives expand and we can see ourselves holistically, it might be that a person still won't see anything different about us. We talked a lot about the physical body throughout the previous season and we've sort of talked about and touched upon how much our physical bodies are expressions of the rest of our bodies—mental, emotional, spiritual.

Rhea: And they form a huge part of our identity in a lot of ways.

Liz: Very much. Yeah. They are our vehicle for this physical earth realm. Just by looking at us, they seem to figure this out. They know what height I am, what color my skin is.

Rhea: What weight I am, what color my hair is

Liz: So much of who we are.

Rhea: Grooming indicates class. Your size indicates self-care. Color of your hair indicates how promiscuous you are.

Liz: I like that!

Rhea: It’s all that shit.

Liz: I like that one. That's funny.

Rhea: It's all that shit.

Liz: Yeah. So those bodies actually speak to, we feel, we think and we connect. So our emotional body speaks to our emotions, how we feel. Our mental body, it's about how we think and how we use our consciousness, and our spiritual body is about how do we connect beyond all of that. Beyond the physical realm, there's still something there. And we only access the spiritual body through the emotional body, which is why we're very much stuck on healing the emotional body. It's why our fears are very much up right now. That's why shadow issues are very much up right now, because until we can heal the emotional body, we really cannot get into our spiritual bodies.

Rhea: Okay. And what about the physical body?

Liz: I Am, because it contains all of those things. In order to really understand where we're going and where our evolution is taking us, we really need to understand not just the nature of the spiritual body, but we need to understand that the existence of a soul that is programmed to get us there.

Rhea: So when you're talking about the spiritual body, physical body, all the bodies, our soul is something else entirely.

Liz: Yes. So our souls are our unique divine expression. It's our consciousness.

Rhea: Who you are in its purest form is your soul.

Liz: It's our essence.

Rhea: You've got the soul, which is our essence, our consciousness, and then that is expressed through our bodies.

Liz: Yes. So you know how our physical bodies have DNA, right? So our cells have all of the DNA or programming and stuff like that. So you can imagine that our souls contain cosmic DNA or a blueprint.

Rhea: Okay. And it is there to help us get to our purpose in this life?

Liz: No, it contains our purpose.

Rhea: Then my soul DNA is what my fears are, what my shadow is, how I heal, how I process.

Liz: Exactly. Yes. What my karma is.

Rhea: What my karma is, all that stuff. So just like, Oh, that's actually really simple. Our souls are the DNA of the unexplained parts, the DNA of the unseen. Our physical bodies are the DNA of the seen, and our souls or the cosmic DNA is just the DNA of the unseen. So when you say our souls are our divine expression, and when we've been talking about in the episodes that we've been doing about who we are, who we are at our core, that is our soul. And we come into this life with the propensity to be scared of X, Y, Z and to desire X, Y, Z, because we've all come here for a reason and we have all come here to learn things, and it would be useless for me to come in here and learn to be brave if I had no fear of being brave. So that needs to be in my soul.

Liz: Exactly.

Rhea: The fears and the shadows needs to be there so I could learn how to overcome them.

Liz: Yes. Now I hope I'm not throwing a wrench in this statement. Your soul is whole and perfect. It chooses these imperfect scenarios and situations.

Rhea: Our soul is the recipe for the cake that is our purpose.

Liz: Very much. So you just imagine like a blueprint of a building. So it's got pretty much all of that stuff mapped out. What happens is that when we come in with this particular blueprint, interestingly enough, we can't change our blueprints.

Rhea: We can't change who we are.

Liz: In our essence, we cannot change who we are. As a matter of fact, we wouldn't necessarily want to because as I said before, our souls are actually whole and complete and perfect. What we're really choosing though, in order to further our soul's evolution, our particular experiences, which on the surface are painful and difficult.

Rhea: It's our stories that we've told ourselves that have taken us further away from our soul.

Liz: Exactly.

Rhea: So when you don't feel like you're beautiful and perfect and so amazing, it is because of the stories you've told yourself, not because of yourself.

Liz: The stories you've created. So say a soul comes in and says, I'm going to experience separation in some huge way.

Rhea: Why do you say I'm going to experience separation? I'm going to experience right and wrong. Black and white.

Liz: Yes, it might be really painful. I might suffer a great deal, but I'm doing this because I'm going to contract with these people. Perhaps I knew them in a past lifetime and we treated each other pretty horribly and we're just going to burn this out. But it might be though that the soul reaches its lesson. It's like, okay, I'm good now. This is enough, but the situation continues and continues because it can't get out of it because it's really hard to shift out once you've written that story.

Rhea: Okay, this is really interesting. Go on.

Liz: Okay, so even if the consciousness is expanding, it might be that you're still kind of finding yourself in that situation. I don't really belong here. Part of me can get out of this, but another part of me is really stuck and I can't get out of the 3D, no matter how hard I try. So this is where the higher self might call on some guides or another soul, and this is where you might have a soul birth. So the blueprint remains the same, but what you've done is then you've taken another soul's blueprint, overlaid that one on the original blueprint. So that's why you still are who you are. You still have the memories of the person you were before that. Nothing really changed except your consciousness expanded a bit more. Things just kind of came a bit more facilitated, but it integrates in a way where it's not going to be obvious.

Rhea: So basically your soul is your power bank to your purpose. So if you need a little boost, you might get more souls.

Liz: Yes. 3D really ripped us apart from the inside out. Separation is very hard when you are a connected soul and one that really enjoys love and peace and wholeness and you come into this rather low vibration, high density world, it is really jarring. We did not talk about this in the first season because there's so many layers to understanding and knowledge that we can't even fully touch upon. We've all made advances because knowledge and our consciousness have expanded. And that's why we are where we are now. We couldn't be there a few hundred years ago. A hundred years from now, or even 50 years from now, that's going to seem very basic.

Rhea: So right now all we're saying is our soul is our essence, who we are, our consciousness.

Liz: Yes. And the more we connect to all of our bodies, the more we can understand our soul's purpose.

Rhea: And where does our higher self fit into that?

Liz: In a very simple way, our higher self is our spiritual body in consciousness.

Rhea: The voice of our spiritual body.

Liz: Yes. So I always find these conversations about what is the soul, what is the soul's purpose, what are we doing here?

Rhea: I've spent a lot of time on Instagram and other social media things recently, and I see a lot of people talking about a lot of weird ass shit. Where people are from, and stars, and where our souls are from, and I am very confused.

Liz: Like star people or star seeds?

Rhea: What are star seeds?

Liz: Let's just dispel a few things because to be fair, it's not like people don't benefit from hearing about it, but it's really not for everyone. The understanding was that star seeds were here to help Earth take the big leap into 5th dimensional Oneness Consciousness, which is we talk about in pretty much every episode, right? What they are, now that we've had this entire conversation about the origin of a soul, star seeds . . .

Rhea: We haven't actually had a conversation about where our soul comes from.

Liz: Oh right, no.

Rhea: We have just said that your soul is your essence.

Liz: Because we're not supposed to talk about where they come from. These souls originated in Arcturus or Pleiades or Vega or the Barnard System, or Andromeda or Orion or Sirius. There's like all these different places where these souls could have originated. That's the story of the star seed and depending on where the soul originated, that would sort of define or explain your purpose a bit.

Rhea: It's the same shit. Just as your DNA says what you look like and how you wrinkle your nose when dust comes in, your soul's DNA says what you're going to feel passionate about and what's going to hurt and you know basically your essence, your consciousness is who that is, what that is and if you believe that you've come here for a purpose, then your soul's DNA will be wired to help you fulfill that purpose, whatever that is.

Liz: Exactly.

Rhea: And all the stories that come from around that, whether it's, Oh, some of my soul is from Pleiades, which means that I really believe in justice and I therefore will go do something to do with that. It's basically just another word for saying somewhere deep down inside my soul, I feel like I have to stand up for these people and I can't explain it.

Liz: There you go!

Rhea: And all we're doing as humans, as we always fucking do is create stories to explain it, when really sometimes we don't need to understand any of this, and to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if somewhere the guides were laughing at us going, we just fed you a pile of bollocks because really you just needed a story to understand what honestly is just you are a lot of different things, but you are how you feel. Who you are inside is just who you are.

Liz: Very much. In the same sense that as much as I say I from California, I was born in California. I haven't lived there in a long time. When I go, I don't really feel like I belong.

Rhea: Yeah, but what I'm even saying is it's just a story. It's just another story. It is a story to explain something because as humans, the idea that we cannot explain why we are doing something - me especially - is crippling, so somewhere along the line, someone's going here is a reason why you feel deep in your core this feeling.

Liz: It's only worthwhile if it really helps them understand something about how they live here, because for some, earth vibration is so difficult that most can't handle it. And of course you chose it. You're here because you chose to be here. You're here for this great evolution that we're all signed up for witnessing and participating in.

Rhea: Like everything that we've done in every podcast, if I'm being very honest, it's one of those subjects that seems really fucking complicated and then really it gets down to something really fucking simple.

Liz: Yeah.

Rhea: Just like what you look like and how you show up in the world is different for every single person and that forms part of your identity, who you are at your core is very different and that also forms part of your identity. In the 3D world we have focused so much on the former that we've really been ignoring the latter. We've been ignoring our souls, our essence, our consciousness, who we are inside, and the more and more work we do on unravelling our superficial stories, the more and more we see who we are at our core, and that is always whole and perfect. Just like everything else, we are now putting stories on that to explain who we are. But ultimately who we are is so personal to us, in some ways this episode is just another story . . .

Liz: Absolutely!

Rhea: To say those feelings and those urges and those desires and those fears and everything else about you is just as much a part of who you are and what makes you as whole as the color of your hair and the color of your skin.

Liz: And the only thing I wanted to say about the star seeds and focusing on that and really people needing to explore it, the reason I don't teach it and the reason this will be the only time we talk about this - I hope - is that I think it feeds separation.

Rhea: Yes. Well that's why in a way I'm almost rejecting this whole episode.

Liz: Don't reject the whole episode. I think it's great.

Rhea: No, and I think that that's when I read it . . .

Liz: When you read the title, and you were like, what?

Rhea: No, when I read the whole thing actually. Oh, okay. It's just we all who we are, ‘cause I think by saying, Oh I have 7 souls, you have 10. My soul comes from this and your soul comes from there. It's more us and them. I am like this, you are like that.

Liz: It's neither here nor there in understanding what we're doing here and where we're going.

Rhea: Well at the end of the day, we are all here to learn to love. In one way or another, we are all here because of love. You and I look very different in every single way. You and I respond to most things very differently.

Liz: Very much.

Rhea: But at the same time we are both here for the same reason.

Liz: That's very true.

Rhea: So it doesn't really matter.

Liz: But we're here for the same purpose. And you're right and it is for evolution. It's for Oneness Consciousness. But we're doing this.

Rhea: Our way.

Liz: Yeah, and eyes wide open.
